Hello all. Im still so jealous of Beck. No fair. I want to be getting ready for vacation too.

I'm convinced I am going to forget something.

I know the feeling. I always feel like im forgetting something when i pack the night before. So I over pack to make up for it. No one needs 7 pairs of shoes for a weekend trip.

I'm on the phone with my mother and she won't quit talking.

Is she talking about anything interesting? Or just blah blah blah stuff?

Is she being nice though?

She's catching me up on the 3 weeks of news from ignoring me. Ugh.

But, she is being nice. So, whatever. I just wanted to find out what time I could drop my dog off tomorrow.

Good grief. 1 1/2 hours on the phone. I tried to get off the phone a few times, to no avail. But, at least she's being nice again. Nice mom is way better than crazy mom. Let's see how long nice mom will stick around!!

I talked to my nieces tonight. They are flipping out. They are so excited. Me too. But Wednesday is going to be a long day in the car. It will be worth it though, I'm sure.

It could be worst. She could be telling you about her colonoscopy. Yeah, I had one of my parents tell me all about theirs.

Oh, yeah- I took my mom to her colonoscopy. I know ALL about it. And her hysterectomy, and her endometriosis, and her gall bladder, and her liver surgery, and her "asthma" (smoker's lung), and her enlarged veins, and her sinus surgery....

sometimes i feel like my parents are falling apart with all their ailments.

The thing is- my mom is only 45. I can't imagine what she's going to be like when she's 60.

Plus, she's a bit of a hypochondriac. And a self-diagnostic junkie. Oy.

I made the girls some child ID's tonight. Their mom is scared that I'm going to lose them. I told her that I had a plan, just in case, and she said, "Oh, so you're planning on losing them." Um, no. It's just that responsible people plan ahead.... yeah- she should try that...

I just got done making DH some home-designed Star Wars t-shirts with iron-on transfers. He's so excited.

ETA- he does more than design Star Wars t-shirts. IF only that could be his day job! He'd be the happiest man alive!

Thanks Stace- the tees turned out really great. He's very proud of himself- He's decided to wear the WWGLD? to MGM on May 19th for Star Wars weekends. I'm sure people will be asking where he got it.

I'm just realizing how much I am going to miss my dog I have never been away from her. She really is like my furry baby.
