tons of $$$$!!! I do plan on delegating a few things to help me out. People have offered (friends and other bridesmaid), so wont they be surprised when I take them up on their offers.

I was the MOH for my SIL- 4 months after my own wedding! Luckily, my MIL helped a lot with the shower, and so did SIL's cousin (another bridesmaid)... The third bridesmaid was only 15, though, so I couldn't ask her for much.

But, showers, gifts, dresses, hair, bachelorette party, etc. Whew!! I parted with some serious cash!

For the small price of a cup of coffee a day you could help and uplift a set of twins. They are quite deserving of the sponsorship I assure you. Make the twins happy and perky. You know you want to.

Yeah, it is a lot of time!! I told Mark I will never plan another wedding! And when if I have a daughter- she can do whatever she wants at her wedding. I'll give a set amount of cash, and have at it. Or a son. whichever.

There was this thread (now locked) that Disteach posted that she is fed up with parents who let their kids have computers/tv's/cell phones in their rooms, because now her son wants them, and she says no, but she BLAMES other parents for letting their kids have them and called them all lazy parents!! It was totally ludicrous.

Then, when everyone lashes back, she says that she was doing an experiment on pack mentality and that DISers are essentially like a bunch of middle schoolers, and soo judgemental. Nevermind that her posts were totally harsh and judgmental, and rude. She's full of it, and people told her so, and thus, the thread is locked.

How's this for a sucky wedding job...I wasn't even the MOH (or even in the wedding party) of my cousin's wedding and I had to do all the MOH jobs the whole weekend (organizing, taking care of the dress, setting up tables). The MOH showed up literally 3 minutes before the ceremony, walked down the aisle and left after the first dance. And I didn't even get a thank you!!

The worst thing is, I don't think my cousin ever really realized what was going on - busy, I guess The funny thing is at my wedding, 3 years before, she flew a 1000 miles with her then BF and they fought the whole time and really kind of made everyone uncomfortable. But after years of her antics, I know what to expect and love her anyway Lucky I am a forgiving person

I was an awesome MOH too. I did SIL's shower all in shades of pink and white, complete with cinderella shoes full of fuschia and light pink M&M's- I am obsessive about themes. I bought her a $250 eeyore bedset that she JUST HAD TO HAVE for her shower- then she decides to do her bedroom in orange and red- and not use the bed set!!!
