Ugh, what a day. Took the day off and went on a class field trip with the sweetpea. We were just getting on the bus and hadn't even left the school parking lot and I was already wanting to pimp slap a 10 year old. The rest of the trip was great. But once we got home its been just crazy. Errands, crafts, and dinner. Way too much to handle. But I got it all done and have just enough time for a quickie on the DIS.

Oh, and I made SMASHED potatoes tonight.

oooooooh. Smashed potatoes sound delicious right now.... I have got to go turn in my project, go to the doc, and then convince dh that I NEED Cracker Barrel for lunch!! Yum!

Then tonight my in-laws are taking me grocery shopping!! And celebrating the end of the project misery with me, since dh works at night.

I have great in-laws.

GREAT news from the doc today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am very happy and all things are "go."

And I turned in my project- managed not to run into my professor, thankfully.

AND- had lunch with a dear friend, AND (as if my day wasn't great enough already!!) I called to get a haircut appt (which with my stylist usually takes a couple of weeks- she books FAST) and she just happened to have an opening tomorrow morning! Woohoo! I'm chopping it off!

Im missing the sweetpea. She left this afternoon for a weekend camping trip with her girl scout troop. It will be the first time she is away from home for more than one night with someone other than family. I thought I was gonna be better about this. But darn, I miss her. I do hope she is enjoying herself though.

Oh.....and I have a date for tomorrow night. Kinda makes up for the fact that I am sitting here alone at the computer on a friday night.
