What is the most unusual thing you have witnessed on an air flight?
And have you ever seen anyone removed from your flight?

Davey Jones (from the Monkees) making out (I mean REALLY going at it!) with some 20 year old on our AA flight out of LAX in 1998. He came out of first class to sit with her and then they spent about 2 hours together. Imagine how much we laughed when he was on the entertainment bill at Epcot later that week!

I love Airline! Some of the things people say and do are so funny. ::yes::

Like the guy who was wearing a short skirt or the guy dressed in a tiger costume?

I can't recall ever seeing anything unusual on a flight I've been on though. Maybe on my next flight?

Once our flight home on SW from Orlando was delayed for 1.5 hours. (no plane) There were several people who ran to the desk to demand compensation for the delay. One mother was demanding free WDW tickets for their next trip! SW sent boxes of snacks and soda to our gate.

And then there was the lady (SW again) in Baltimore who went ballistic when security pulled her for a spot check just before boarding (remember those days?). She started yelling and screaming and throwing things, like keys, from her bag that were bouncing off the wall. They let her on, after doing the search!

Hum.. Worst thing I ever saw on a flight was Coming into to Tampa.. I was 9weeks pregnant with my daughterand as soon as those wheels hit the landing my lunch hit my lap and everything else.. BAD BAD BAD!!!

Now even though Im not Pregnant EVERY time I fly I get the Bag Ready just in case.. You should see the looks on my row mates face..Compleate FEAR.. And who can blame them

I've never seen anyone removed from a flight.

One time I was on a flight from Detroit to Atlanta. The plane had just taken off and the seat belt sign was still on. An older gentleman a few aisles back decided that he couldn't wait any longer and got up to go to the bathroom. I didn't see him get up; all of a sudden there was a stern "Sit down now!!" over the intercom from one of the flight attendants.

Another time flying to Atlanta someone on the plane was ill -- not violently throwing-up ill but it almost seemed like they were having a seizure of some kind. The flight attendants found a doctor or nurse to check the person out and a decision was made to request an emergency landing. We were close enough to Atlanta that we weren't deverted, but (a) we apparently were put to the front of the line, and (b) we made the fastest descent I've ever experienced on a commercial airliner.

Once I was on a Southwest flight from San Diego to Chicago that stopped in Phoenix and Kansas City. There was a strange lady that got on the plane in PHX and was either strung out on drugs or overly nervous. We got to Kansas City a few minutes late and they asked the passengers that were going on to Chicago to please stay on board. The lady threw a fit and started rummaging through her stuff and then ran to the back of the plane to the restroom. She locked herself in and started smoking cigarettes. The flight attendants were knocking on the door. ASking her to please get out of the bathroom, to put out the cigarettes but she didn't comply. They had to bring in the FAA police and she was taken out of the airplane in handcuffs swearing the whole time.

Another time on a flight from Chicago to LAX. A teenage girl stood up and vomitted on the head of the PAX in front of her.

Many years ago....was on a plane that had to do a hard banked turn and "assume crash positions" , and dump gasoline over the Alantic, due to a cracked windshield. I have been stopped (in my younger days) for lots of security screening in Europe. My ex-fi was detained for running through an airport (also in Europe 10+ yrs ago) with his backpack on. We just looked very suspicious.

...I've seen some pretty stange substances passing as airline food...does that count? :crazy2:

I did see an airport employee yelling at a McDonald's manager because he was being charged 25 CENTS extra for a second packet of salad dressing for his salad (why did he want two, one is plenty anyway!). He didn't have to pay for extra ketchup, he screamed, why then is he being ripped off for salad dressing? Waaaaaay over the top! I felt like just giving the man a quater to stop yelling at the poor kid, but didn't want my head ripped off prior to getting on my flight. I wanted to report him, but since he worked for the airport and not an airline, I wasn't sure who to contact.

My daughter and I sat next to Naomi Judd in first class from Miami to Charlotte. Followed her into the ladies room and then asked her for an autograph. She was the most gracious woman. Gave my daughter a personal autograph picture and then preceded to talk with her and ask her questions about herself.

That could have been my husband getting up when the plane was taking off in Knoxville. I was having an allergic reaction to Aleve and couldn't breath. He was getting one of the children's inhalers out of the overhead bin. The flight attendants were yelling at him to sit back down. he was successful as was the inhaler in helping me breath.

On another trip, a middle aged lady went berserk during a thunderstorm and kept trying to go to the bathroom. She got yelled at and then had to be forced to sit down.
