Heard on a radio talk show: Caller said he rented a car and later found an partly consumed bottle of beer. If the state had an "open container law" he could have been ticketed, fined, arrested, or whatever.
Moral of the story, inspect the rental car including the glove compartment, trunk, and under the seats before leaving the airport or lot.
Also make sure the spare time and jack parts are all there, you could get charged for tyhem if they are missing upon return.
Also check reasonable carefully for damage especially if you declined the collisioh coverage.
And go through the motions of rolling the window sup and down, trying the wipers, lights, etc.

November 03 (All Star Music), rented a car (Alamo/National) and the trunk lock broke, it was iffy when I first tried it, fortunately the remote ctontrol trunk unlocker on the key ring still worked.
