Insp. By The Hillary Thread, The Cheating Factor...

I guess I'm somewhat guilty of that. I wouldn't throw anyone under the bus for trying to make their marriage work, but I think in that whole fiasco Hillary came off as very cold and unsympathetic. I think many people have trouble relating to her, and liking her, because she doesn't show her emotions.

I have a hard time trusting in someone that is so guarded. So while I agree with her politics, I would have a hard time voting for her.

Well, if she showed emotion, as a woman politician, I think people would see it as a sign of weakness. I also think she stayed because of her own political aspirations - but that part of their life is their business.

But my point still stands. I would wonder about someone if most people dis-liked them.

Doubtful if it could be classified as "most". Her opponents are quite vocal, perhaps giving that impression. Polls seem to show as many people liking her as disliking her. If she didn't appeal to a broad section of Americans she wouldn't have gotten as far as she has, imho.

I wonder if her DHs term and the Bush father and son terms will hurt her chances?

Honestly, part of me would just like to see someone new running the country and I feel like Hillary would just be going back to more of the same.

IMO, we need some new blood in the white house. (said as a republican who is not super impressed with any of the candidates so far)

Whenever these Hillary threads come up I must say that I'm amazed at the number of women who seem to be MOST upset with her because she stayed with Bill and that her politics seem to come in second. I also wonder, if the same situation happened to them IRL, would they be so cavalier in tossing their cheating hubby under the bus. Ladies, and Gents also, any thoughts?

Well being in that situation, I gave a second chance and yes, when he continued I definitely tossed him under the bus. Why? Because it had to do with my self-respect and keeping my dignity.

As far as people liking her I think the liberal media loves to keep her in the spot light. As a women I will not vote for her. Alot of people I have asked don't like her at all. Most of them are women. I also think if she wins the democratic nomination she will bring more people out to vote just so they can vote against her. Her healthcare plan is another joke. If anything it will put this country in more debt and guess who will be paying that bill. Her marriage really means nothing to me. She probably has an agreement with Bill and life goes on. I just think she is the wrong person we need to run this country.
