We're hoping to have our 2 grown sons share an inside stateroom for a three day cruise. We'd have a room with a verandah (hey! - we're paying!) I need info from those who've stayed in one - how confining are they? One son thinks he may be a little claustrophobic - the other one seems to think he'd be OK. (Our stateroom host closed the curtain at night, so it seemed like no window then anyway.)
Also, is the Navigator's Verandah really OK? We've had a regular verandah on our two previous 3-day cruise, but I can't see the advantage/disadvantage either way.

We always cruise with a verandah room, but in May we decided on a last min. 3 day cruise and wanted to do it as cheaply as we could. We were in a level 10 on deck 2. I was sooo nervous as I can't stand confined spaces and I am always hot. I even packed a small fan. We were fine. Never missed the verandah and room was actually cooler then ones we'd had on deck 6. You really don't spend much time in your room, especially on a 3 nite cruise. When my adult dtr. and I wanted to ocean gaze we just went up to the deck with nice padded chairs (4?)and enjoyed watching the sea.
Navigator verandah is same size as reg., but you don't get as much of a view (but you do have more privacy!)because it's partly enclosed.
Whatever you choose, I'm sure you'll have a great time.

We had 4 people(one was an 8 month old) in a cat 11 with no problem. We even had the porta crib and double carriage stored in there. We were in the room only to change, shower and sleep, so it really didnt matter.

We had 2 teens(13&14) plus my DH and myself in an inside room--no problem. Like others have said, not much time spent in the room.

We were two adults who are not tiny in a Cat. 11, and had plenty of room. This time we'll be three in the same category, and I still think we'll have room.

DH is very claustrophobic, but the room didn't bother him because he knew he could go outside if he wanted to.
