We finally got back from seeing it. A vacation and our Alamo Drafthouses closing down (soon to reopen, thankfully) caused us to have to wait a little bit. I liked it. I thought it was a lot funnier than the first one but it didn't have the same emotional weight as the first one. Pouchey and the video game guy who could only move in left right/up down motions were great. Nostalgia was incredible and I would've loved to have seen her play more with the mom and dad since adults have such a harder time moving past their need for nostalgia. The line about "I guess when you grow up, you experience less joy" was pretty impactful. But you cannot top Bing Bong and the sacrifice he made to save Riley.
