How are the mosquitos this time of year. We will be at WDW from April 5-15. Its our first time there so don't know what to expect.

We usually go mid-end May and the only bug problem was with these little black winged things they called "love bugs".

We were there the beginning of March, and there were mosquitoes - my husband was bitten quite a few times and I was bitten once. It has been especially warm this year, so maybe this is the reason. We have never experienced them before in March.

Would anyone know if the insect repellant/sun screen combos work?

we have been to the world during several different times of the year and i must admit that i have never seen a problem with insects at the parks or the resorts...
have fun!!!

Thanks for the input all. I suspect that Disney does what it can to keep the bug population under control in the parks. I hate putting repellant on (we seldom need to use it here in western Washington State unless out camping or something) but guess we will have some with us just in case. Of those of you that use the stuff more often, any favorites out there in terms of brand and tips for use?

Personally, I like Skin So Soft by Avon. You don't need to find someone who sells Avon to get it - I can often find it at kiosks at big shopping malls. They make a version just for kids and there is also a sunscreen/bug repellent combo.
