Inquiry from newspaper reporter

Personally I have never ever had anything but a great experience at WDW. We are always treated wonderfully there.

But if some of the stories throughout these threads are true, there has been a drop in quality with Customer Service (mostly posted on the Resort Board).

It seems that most of the complaints are about checking in, maid service and Concierge.

Also there is a long thread about a decline in cleanliness in the parks, and a lack of upkeep with some of the rides.

But like I said, personally, I have not experienced anything negative.

Good Luck with the aritcle! :wave2:

I think this is the wrong place to look for your ?'s . You are asking a group of people who love Disney. We have a squewd(sp) veiw of Disney :disrocks:

Unfortunately, what catmondo said is true. I stated before that you will not find the truth on these boards about disney. I didn't mean to say that anyone is lying but that their views about disney are jaded somewhat. A lot of people love disney to the point where they overlook some of the negatives or truly don't notice it and will defend disney to the end. I was like that also but it started coming to a point where I felt like I wasn't getting what I was paying for like in past years.
A good example is at the halloween and christmas parties. It used to be fun and special because they only allowed so many people in the party. But now it is so crowded just like any other night and I wonder why I paid all of this money to go to a party where I still have to wait in line and fight the crowds. The whole original idea of the parties was to pay EXTRA money so you wouldn't have to deal with heavy crowds or wait times for rides. It made me mad that I was paying for seasonal passes and then about $200 bucks extra for what turned out to be any other night at disney. I know the kids get to trick or treat and they have other things but the only extra things the xmas party has are cookies and hot chocolate and parade. I paid 200 for that? I have read about other people that will not go to the parties anymore either because of that.
I will say that there is still magic at disney just because of my many memories I have had there. Things aren't like they used to be but you will still find cms that go above and beyond but it just isn't consistent like it used to be. Maybe we are asking for too much now. ::MickeyMo
