Inquired about direct.

Do you think I’ve I inquired about direct for ssr last week and they wanted 205 a point and today I sent a resale to Rofr for 100 a point they will not let me buy?
As in do you think they have my info and would block me when they see I was thinking about direct.

Ok thank you. Was getting worried that if they have my name and email in their system about inquiring that they might try to deny me and try to get me to buy direct. I just cant make the math work out for the blue card.

No way. You’re talking about Disney spending tens of thousands of dollars ROFR’ing a contract on the off-chance that it pushes you to buy direct.

Thanks sounds good. I will be at ssr on Sunday staying on my dads points. I know that Dvc should be calling me any day to try to set up tour. With it this close to me sending a contract to them didn’t think my name would pop up in system. I’m gonna tell him I have to think about it more but I’m not gonna buy direct for double the money for same points.

I'm pretty sure most people who bought resale had a meeting at some point. I know I did, and I was surprised my first contract made it past ROFR. They can't buy it all. Don't sweat it.

No way. I doubt Disney even looks at the name on the contract when they are deciding on ROFR. Go, do the tour, enjoy the ice cream, then save $10k buying resale. If Disney really wanted you to buy direct they'd drop the price per point. now THAT would kill the resale market! Never gonna happen, don't worry about it.
