Can anyone recommend good but cheap inkjet cartridges please? The originals (Hewlett Packard in my case) are so exorbitant and I don't know if the "compatible" ones are as good - and if they are ok which ones should I buy as there are so many on the web? I know I'll have literally hundreds of photos to print off when we get back from our hols and I'll need quite a few cartridges. I don't know whether to buy the originals and then get them refilled or to go for cheaper compatible versions. Advice would be very gratefully received please. :flower:

Thank you Michelle! I seem to recall your DH works with computers so he knows what he's talking about!!

Hi!

We use Tesco's own cartridges. Must admit though, we get our piccies printed at Super Target before we come home!

I get my ink carts from svp.co.uk, but im not sure if they do HP.

But if you have a lot of photo's to print, you will do it considerably cheaper, and better, longer lasting quality if you use a "propper" online printer (or instore service like Jessops or Boots do).

I use www.bonusprint.com and I just received some prints back from them that are their biggest sizes, and they are utterly superb quality. I was extremely impressed.

Well, having bought photo paper and priced up cartridges I have to agree that Bonusprint are a lot cheaper than doing it yourself!!! My daughter uses them so I know how good they are. I do like to edit and print my own but it's definitely not cheap!!!
