Initial Stay Upgrade?

Any possibility of an upgrade on our very first stay with the LFCard at PBH? We'd appreciate a little more room but got the lowest rate we could just to stay on the property. Also, since there are 5 of us, I was told I'd have to pay to have a cot for my little guy. Is this true?

Yes, cots do cost extra. Bring an air mattress instead. Since it is prime time when you are going to be visiting, it is doubtful that you will be upgraded to a deluxe room. It never hurts to ask though. Be very, very sweet and say how much you would love the extra pullout.

We just stayed for the first time at the Royal Pacific and had a discounted room for $191 for 1 night. When we checked in, I asked about the possibility of getting a suite and I was not asking for a free upgrade.

To my SURPRISE, they gave me a suite at the same price and we added another day at that same rate!!!! I was thrilled!

I had my Loews card and presented it upon check-in. I only had one previous Loews stay about 4 years ago, so the upgrade was not a reward for frequent stays.

That is awesome! I hope I can have that luck but since I am going at such a busy time I won't hold me breath. Still, I will hold out some hope since I'm a naturally optimistic person.
