So- when a resort first opens (thinking ahead to Poly) is there usually an initial discounted price, or is it the same or more than the going price?

I believe it just depends on what DVD decides to do. I believe if you're a current member, sometimes they offer a small discount.

Currently direct and resale buyers are treated the same when a new resort is offered for sale.

Just as an example when VGF started selling they offered it to current members for $145pp. When they offered it to the general public the price went up to $150. Price is now $165.

There is no guarantee that they will do the same thing for Poly but if not it would be unusual.
