Yep - HSBC is 4.8%disneysteve said:It's about time they raised it, though it still puts them well below many of their competitors.
disneysteve said:HSBC is now 5.05%. Far above ING, even with the increase.
Go to hsbcdirect.com for all the details. No minimum. No fees.mcgrawfan said:Is this for a regular savings account? And if so what are the "rules"?

I'm so glad you mentioned HSBC - here in Canada their interest rate for the savings account is 3.15% (same as ING) but if you sign up for HSBC's high-interest savings account by today, they give you a $25 bonus (ING was only offering $13 bonus)!
Currently, our saving account is earning a cool .05% through our bank![]()
Sounds like that may be a Canadian offer.brivers222 said:I went to hsbcdirect.com and I couldn't find anywhere stating how to get the $35 signup bonus. I am highly interested. Check your PM's also![]()

It looks like they might - did you try a google search?mickey'sbud said:So does anyone know for sure if ING (in the USA) is still making this offer? Hope so! Thanks for any replies.![]()

I am seriously considering putting all my money in emigrant where my vacation money is instead. I do love ING but they are not keeping up with their competitors at all and it's kinda disappointing.
mickey'sbud said:I don't have an ING account, so this is the reason for my questions.
The last I heard is that I can get a referral to open an account with $250 and get a bonus of $25. Is this still available? I've been asking about ING for several months. I have been scared to open one, but I was about to take the plunge, since so many people here say they are pleased with ING.
So does anyone know for sure if ING (in the USA) is still making this offer? Hope so! Thanks for any replies.![]()
