Ok, so I opened an account with them. I just opened it this am but their site is down and I can't log on. I was able to start an account. No idea what is up....I just can't access my account.

Question: I would like to set up a few sub-accounts.....can I do that easily once I log on to my actual account or do I have to set up new accounts?

Thanks!,

Dawn

I *think*, that you'd be opening new accounts, and not sub-accounts, but they're all under your name. (So, either all of the accounts are "sub" accounts, or they're all main accounts... Am I confusing you more?)

I have multiple accounts with ING, all under the same sign-in:
- General Savings
- Emergency Fund
- an account for my DD
- Christmas Account

It's very easy to transfer money in/out of the accounts - just be prepared for the money to be in "cyberspace" for a while. (i.e. if you transfer money on a Monday, it could take up to Friday to appear in your other account.)

ETA: Yes, it is easy. You just add an account, name it, and transfer some $$ into it. (It's slightly more complicated if it's a joint account, but still not too hard.)

It has been so long since I opened mine but I do have 4 accounts listed when I log on with my customer number so I would say yes you should be able to do it within the account you just opened.

Interesting. I didn't know it was so easy to make extra accounts. I think I'm going to do this.

Thanks. HOpefully I can log on soon. I would like to have a few different accounts. One will be labeled Disney!
