At least my points were worth it. I was feeling frisky and I guess crossed the line. I forgot we are not all adults. I know better now. I stick to Who likes a Dole whip threads now. oh and the baseball ones...oh and I am always for a debate, Which I think means more points are in my future.

I think people who will never get points (like Slo) should be able to donate them to others. Or if you're going on vacation, you should be able to donate 5 points while you're gone.

And I don't think you should get points for teasing people you are friendly with.

are you kidding me, I post on a thread on the family board and we use that word all the time, Im talking all 20 or so of us on the thread lol.
Its a thread about divorce sooo ya know it gets thrown out there pretty often.

I know. That's what makes it hard to know what is allowed & not allowed. You can read that word all over the place here. You use it once yourself...and you get points. I don't feel the points system is fair at all sometimes. Actually most times.

I've received 40 points for a major personal attack for advicing someone to get an electrical socket cover to prevent injury. I was so concerned that they get one, that I was willing to spend the 50 cents myself & send it to them if they couldn't get one. (Former insurance agent here. Heck, we used to give out smoke detectors to people if they didn't have one.) So, somehow wanting to make sure someone stays safe is a major personal attack. I had never even heard of the mod that gave me the points & I've been here for years. I guess the mod didn't know me very well. Alot of my posts are about offering advice & information.

I've seen posts & threads where I can't believe what is being discussed, and then I realize a mod is posting on the thread too or is friends with someone. Like I said, I don't think the system is fair at all. People are human. They are going to side with their friends. Wish there was another way.
