OK, just wondering if anybody actually loses it from information overload?
We booked our Disney trip in March for this Christmas. Arriving around noon time 12/23 to ASMo resort and leaving late afternoon on 12/31. First time for me (37) since 1980 and First time for wife (35) since late 80's. First time ever for DD (11) and DS (8)
We booked our Castle breakfast and Chef Mickey breakfast back in June.
We have park hopper passes for all nine days and the Disney Dining Plan and have made all our ADR's that we needed, as well as reservations for the Candlelight Processional.
We also have a modest daily schedule made out as well (acceptable to change)
We realize, crowds will huge, lines will be long. We are not doing a commando style trip. We want to relax, enjoy ourselves, and take in the special Disney atmoshpere (Magic). We are going into the trip with the attitude that we don't absolutely have to do everything and every ride. If we want to wait in line, we will, if we don't want to wait in line, we won't. We have enough days to go back to each park a second time. We will try to use FastPass as much as possible. Still don't quite understand how the EMH works for Christmas week as the schedule show that all the parks open at earlier times and close at later times each day.
With all this being said.....I'm almost afraid to read the boards because it seems that so many posts seem to imply that if your not ready to run a marathon around the parks to starting at park opening, you won't have a good time.
Am I suffering from information overload or what? I'll admit, I'm nervous as h*** about the trip as I want everyone to have a good time and not be disappointed by anything. I'll also admit that I'm excited also, wife says she doesn't know whose excited more, me or the kids.
Any thoughts or opinions here, or should I just stay away from the sight until after my trip at this point?
Thanks for hearing me out.
Don
