Information on quest card expiration dates - UPDATED!

I know we have all been wondering whether the Quest cards with a September 30, 2006 expiration date would become invalid after that time or not. I have been informed by QA_SuzyQT that they WILL NOT be expiring at the end of the month. In addtion, she stated that they are working on getting updated cards out.

Important Update:
In response to the questions regarding quests which are no longer current:

My recommendation would be that for those cards that the quest is no longer being used, they should be input into the game as soon as possible. While we have not turned off any of the retired cards, that is always a possibility. Any cards that are still being given as reward for current quests in the park should be fine regardless of the date on the back. Again, I would encourage people to input the codes when they get the cards to avoid any concern or confusion going forward. Hope this helps.

Mal mentioned the same thing to me, but she said that only if the quest was not expired. So Pirates, Haunted and VIP badge codes will expire? If someone could clear that up I'd appreciate it.

Please wait until we hear from Yavn or SuzyQT as to exactly what her statement meant.

She said

as long as we are providing the cards for quests they will be valid.

I took that to mean as long as the quest was active and Disney is giving out the cards for that quest or in the case of the VIP card (the card) then they will be good.

Lori took it to mean all cards currently not entered will remain good and she could very well be correct. I just want the issue of the doubt it leaves in my mind cleared up.

QA_ suzyq did tell me exactly the same as i have a pile of cards to enter also
that as long as they were giving out cards dont worry
