Info to avoid lines.

Would you pay for info, books or online,to keep your avg line to 5 min or less at WDW

  • No. I don't worry about lines.

  • No, people don't need to pay for info to WDW. It is all on line for free.

  • Yes, I would buy books but would not pay for Internet info. That should be free.

  • Yes to both if it would keep my average wait to 5 minutes or less.

Along the same thought as long lines would you pay for information, guides on line sites and such to avoid lines at WDW.

5 minutes or less is a very short time frame....my answer doesnt really fit into any of those....I pay money for books and one website to help keep my wait times down...but I wouldnt pay any more to make it "5 minutes or less".

I wouldn't pay for any book that promised to keep my wait times to 5 minutes or less because I wouldn't believe them. I just don't think it's possible to do during any peak time and during off season you don't need a book to avoid long lines.

5 minute average wait times during peak times? No way at all is this possible. Even fast pass takes longer than that.

:wave2: You already know my answer, so I'll give this a "bump" for you.. :flower:

DIS, and other sites like this, have everything I need to stay on top of the "line" game. Don't buy any promises of 5-minute or less wait times during peak season. It just won't happen. But I do during value season, usually, and we rarely wait more than 10-15 minutes for anything, and I don't spend a dime to figure out how to use fastpass properly.

I picked the last one, pay for both to keep my time waiting in lines minimal.
I always buy the UG and Passporter for my trips. This month, I subscribed to TGM for my 10/06 trip and if all goes well, will spend my money on it again the next time I have a trip planned.
For the $18 or whatever it was I’ll use it as more planning material and zig while others are zagging.

I chose the last one, but only because I buy the books and the online guides, but not to keep my wait time on lines down...I do it for fun. I already know how to beat lines...I've been doing it for years. I just love to have information and updates on the theme parks. I love the descriptions and pictures that come along with guides and the fun tidbits and extras that come along with th einternet guides. The more information on the happiest place on earth before I go, the better.

I voted based on experience from planning for our trip this summer. Vote: I'll pay next time for books, but not internet info.

I bought the UG, thought about Passporter but did not buy it (though I probably will next time), thought about TGM but passed on it, then bought the sample online touring plans from the UG website (because they were pretty cheap). Next time, I will definitely buy the UG book, most likely will buy the Passporter book, but will most likely not buy the online UG plans (didn't use them in the end), and still probably will not want to pay for TGM's website.

In the end, I don't mind shelling out for a book, but can't bring myself to pay much for internet-based info. Don't know why, but that's how I'm wired I guess.

I agree with Bill Sears, you would have to prove it to me, just like for me to believe in a UFO :teleport: i would have to see it for myself.
