Info on The Hamlets

Has anyone ever stayed in a house that is in this community? We are looking into renting a house there for a Disney trip in late summer and was wondering what kind of area it is in.

If you are speaking of the Hamlet at Westhaven, it is really nice. We stayed in the Abbey portion of Westhaven and loved it. It is an easy drive to WDW (about 15-20 minutes). There is a Publix down the street by Champions Gate.

We stayed in the area of this development on our last trip. We really liked this area of Davenport. The I-4 exit is really close. You get on at exit 58 and get off for the Disney area around exit 62-64. The Publix up near Champions Gate was nice. There is a McDonalds in that plaza that has a 24 hour drive through. There is also a Chinese place and a pizza place there. If you travel on Ronald Regan Parkway west, you are only a couple of miles from 27. If you go north on 27 for 3-5 miles there is a Super Wal Mart. If you go south, there was a Target and a JC Penney. The Wal Mart on 27 was quicker to get to than the one in Kissimmee, so if you have a GPS and it tries to send you to the Kissimmee Wal Mart, don't go to that one. It took my in-laws forever to get there. To get to 192, take Lake Wilson Road. It was super easy and you end up on 192 West (near the Formosa Gardens area).
We are hoping to stay in this area again on our next trip.
