I was hoping I could get info on the Princess meal at EPCOT. My DD will be 5 and I want to make it special for her. She LOVES the princesses. I'm worried about the menu. What meal do you prefer - Breakfast, lunch, dinner? How is it served? What's available for kids? I'm not a fish person, DH is. I'm a chicken and pasta girl, but won't be too picky if DD is a happy birthday girl.

Thanks

This was my same concern for our trip in December. I think I have finally decided on breakfast as DD is a very picky eater!! But I would've liked to have tried the "different" cusine!

Stick with the breakfast..the lunch and dinner is very ethnic and consists of lots of fish.Even the meatballs were nothing like regular meatballs. I enjoyed the different dishes, but many do not.

I agree with Breakfast. We went late (like 11:00 ish) and it held us over until dinner time. Food was great, DD (picky) found fruit and pastry at the cold bar, and the hot plate they brought was delish!

You'll have a great time - this was one of our favorite character meals.

My girls first trip was July 08 and we did the breakfast here. It was great. The princesses were great and the food was good.

We also vote for breakfast. My DD loves it and we try to go every year

For the record, there's an alternative:

Dinner with Cinderella and the Stepfamily at 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian.

The stepsisters were a riot-- bickering about who was smarter and who was prettier. The stepmother was hysterical-- just totallly hysterical. And they and Cindy and the Prince went table to table signing autographs and posing for pictures.

The food is buffet-- there's something there for everyone. Try the cold strawberry soup!

We loved it and are heading back again this year!

Foodwise I would pick breakfast every time. However, Ariel is my DD's favorite princess and she is much more likely to be present at lunch or dinner. Of course it's never guaranteed though and I've heard she has made an appearance at breakfast before....but we had went 3 times at breakfast and never had her. But we went at lunch and we were rewarded with DD seeing her favorite princess in her ballgown.

Ok, breakfast.

Would you try for an early breakfast before world showcase opens or a later one to hold you over for an early dinner?

I was thinking it would be cool to walk through World Showcase without a lot of people, but didn't know how busy it would be at the restaurant.

We will be going week after Thanksgiving.
