Hi everyone, :teeth:

Can anyone tell me a little more about Pleasure Island? The CM from Dining recommended for my DH and I to visit at least once during our anniversary...he said if we tell them its our anniversary, they'll do something "special" for us at Adventurers Club.

We would like to visit at least once, but we're buying the AP for WDW this year. Would the annual pass for Pleasure Island be worth it? (I think its $54.00)

Any info on P.I. would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!!!:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Is it worth buying the AP for pleasure Island? The only thing that stops my DW and I from visiting PI more often is that we don't have anyone to watch the kids. If you plan on going to PI more than twice(and I am sure that you will once you try it) you'll want the AP.

We love the Adventurers Club and the Comedy Warehouse. Unfortunately we go during the less crowded times of year so the other bars and clubs aren't as crowded and we prefer those types of places when they're crowded.

Hi JDads2,

Thanks for the ideas. I felt the same way, if we were to go more than once, it'd almost pay for itself already. I was just worried if we were going to go more than once. But thanks for that push! hee hee, now I know its worth it! :sunny:  :sunny:

PI has a promo going where you buy one night's admission and for 5 dollars more you can go for 5 nights. That would be a bit more cost effective than an annual pass. http://wdwig.com/faq_pi.htm

Unless you're making 2 trips, I'd do this - the 5 nights for $5 is only good on 5 consecutive nights - so you can't use them on a different trip like you could with an AP.

5 for extra $5 sounds GOOD, but its only for consectuive nights...if we go back for a 2nd trip, we'd have to pay another $twenty something$...

That's the tough part, from the sound of it, PI seems to be a very popular place, and the deal w/ the $5 sounds awesome...sigh...I wish they'd give us like a "TRIAL" pass! ;)

Thanks!:teeth: :teeth:

Truth be told, the Adventurer's Club alone is worth the price of admission (over and over and over). I actually probably spend more time in some of the other clubs (I love to go up on the catwalks above the revolving dance floor at Manniquins and watch not only the dancers, but also people getting on and off the dance floor as it slowly revolves... some nights, watching the dancers can be such a blast becuase it's rather like going to a wedding, where you see folks who would never in their everyday lives even think about dancing to that type of music letting loose and having a ball. I bet some of their kids would kill for photos to use in future blackmail incidents!).

Then there's the Comedy Warehouse, which always promises a good time. Beyond that, there's a little something for everyone (although, sadly for those who like it, I suppose Country has gone bye bye, at least for now). And that's not including the entertainment on the outdoor stages, or the nightly fireworks display.

Personally, it's always something I look forward to. Heck, I have to approach it carefully, because I have so much fun (and too much bourbon) and wind up wanting to sleep the next day away when I know I've got tons more to see and do!

This is very true, but, I assumed, shame on me, that they were just doing this one trip.

We have annuals and have for years, but, I do highly recommend this for folks just doing one trip.

that 5.00 deal is like a trial pass. One night, 5.00 bucks to try again, what could be better?

Hi all,

I know, the $5. is like a "trial" pass already, but I think I still have to pay for the regular admission first then the $5. I was looking to see if I should go that route or just pay the $58 for the annual.

We finally bought our AP last night at the Disney Store. Now, I have to make up my mind about the AP for PI:rolleyes:

But it sounds like so much fun down there!:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Oh..I just can't wait. I don't think I can buy the AP for PI at the Disney Store though...I'll give them a call today!

THANKS!!!:teeth: :hyper: :teeth: :hyper:

You can only purchase the PI annual pass at PI's gate. If you have DC and manage to get there before DC is over you can use DC for the discount.
I believe you can purchase the one day ticket and upgrade before the night is over if you like it that much.
