New side is the same ride with no spinning ( no G's) all else is the same .Very nice

Old side is just that the old side still spins and pulls the G's and does it all.

Hope that helps it's devided by the decision you make when you enter Green or Orange.

I've done both and now I like the non-spinning side as DD will get on with me.

I also like the green ride. I had done the original (now the orange ride) when it first opened and it left me feeling 'weird' for a bit. Not sick or dizzy, just 'weird'. I passed it by the past several times there. Now with the green open, I did ride again back in May and it was great. Almost the same experience, but without the spinning, no more wierd. Enjoy.

I agree with the other posters. I rode the "Green" side on Friday and I actually enjoy MS now!

For the record, I ride every ride, and I have never gotten sick on anything in my entire life, until MS, that fateful day in 2004. I was so sick. I vowed never to ride again (or to watch anything with Gary Sinise in it...promos for CSI:NY made me feel sick to my stomach!).

So, I wanted to give it another shot when I went to WDW with my sister for a long weekend. The ride is so much more fun now! The other simulator effects are fun and the ride is overall much more enjoyable for me.

Also, another plus is that the "Green" or "Less Intense" side is usually shorter than the "Orange," or "More Intense" side.

Sounds like the Green side for us, thanks all! Would you say this is now more like a motion-simulation ride, on the lines of Star Tours, or am I missing something? I admit to being a fraidy-cat  and did not think about riding at all. Now DS age 7 wants to try it. In NO WAY would I let him ride the original. But with this new option, we just might try it. Thanks all! :thumbsup2
