Info on Disney for Project

Thought I would come to the experts first before I went nuts looking for information.

I am taking a Operational Management College Course. I have to do a paper on a Consumer Product Company with the Operational Mangement principles in it. Of course I want to do it on my favorite subject Disney. The Disney Corp as a whole is WAY too big. I was thinking about doing it on Disney World but that may be too big. I was also thinking about doing it on The Disney Vacation Club which I think would be the best.

So, my question is..... where could I get some good info on the Disney Company or The Disney Vacation Club Company, or Disney World? Is there a good book I should purchase? Is there a good website to view?

I did a marketing audit for a class early this year on Walt Disney World Theme Parks and Resorts. It is a separate part of the company. I found a lot of info on the Disney web site. There is a section on the site that has financial reports and company forecasts. I also searched the web and found everything I needed from different web sites. I based my conclusions and recommendations on statements made by Roy Disney. His web site is savedisney.com.

I would call member services, perhaps they can send you some offical information, and poss. even pass you along to an operational manager to interview.

The Disney Institute tour guide from our three park backstage tour was a wealth of information, he had mentioned a book that I think was created/authored through DI; my memory is not cooperating at the moment, but there are few DI staff left and he was the only guide for this tour as of the past May.
