I have heard so many great things about Discovery Cove, but I feel it was a very bias opinion, coming from an absolutely Disney Freak. Don't get me wrong I'm the same way, but I haven't been to Discovery Cove yet. Is it a place for a young married couple without kids? Money is not a problem because I feel that when I'm on vacation I am willing to spend a little more for a memorable experience. So please share your opinions and suggestions with me.

We went to discovery cove a couple of yrs ago and absolutely loved it! it was a day of complete relaxation and there wasnt a queue for anything.
The setting is brilliant, with all palm trees, hammocks, sandy beaches etc! The meal was wonderful as well.
The highlight was defintely the dolphin swim, even tho u were only in the water for half an hour, it was well worth. its definitely something that will stay with me forever.
The tropical reefds with the fish were brilliant and the aviary was so pretty!
It was money well spent!

I have been there twice, swam with the dolphins once, and have another ressie, non dolphin swim, on 5/10.

If you have never been swimming with dolphins its a wonderful first experience. It would also be a good thing to do with kids.

Its a beautiful water park and a wonderful way to spend the day. Snorkling is not as stressful or scary as jumping in the Carribbean which my vacation partner needs since she is mobility challenged with MS. It is the only place she will snorkle.
The aviary is great and so is the lazy river. We also found the food to be good!!

Have a Disney Day !!

You might want to check out and post on the Sea World/Discovery Cove board here on the DIS.

I thought that Discovery Cove was a Disney sanctioned park. My next question was going to be does Disney have a transport there.
Thank you all for the advice, we are looking forward to the experience.:wave2:
