Info on Developer points reservation timing

I made our first ressie using our developer points on August 4th.
I got the confirmation today August 22nd via USPS.
The confirmation states that the ressie was confirmed August 14th.
I am guessing that developer point ressies have a different timing sequence than that of a ressie using UY points.

Developer points are processed manually by a special team that's why the delay.

I was told AKV Developer Points could be used at either
3 Disneyland Resorts, SSR, or through Interval....

By any chance, did you happen to book Developer Points through Interval?
Very interested, as an Interval International Booking would be my first choice for use of Developer Points....

Wondering how difficult it was getting something through Interval 11 mos out?

This is exactly what I was told when I called for my SSR ressie at the 7 month mark using my developer points.
