Info on B-Line Diner?

While we're staying offsite in Orlando, my oldest daughter wants to go to the Peabody and see the "duck parade" one afternoon. Has anyone ever eaten at the B-Line Diner there? The hotel website has info on the restaurant and it sounds good, but there were no menus to look at. What do ya'll think?

We ate there a couple of years back. The place itself is great - authentic to the last detail (not that I was around in the 50s ). We ate burgers and they were good, but I can't remember what else was on the menu. What I <i>do</i> remember is the chiller cabinet just as you enter the restaurant filled with the most amazing array of scrummy desserts!

The Peabody is a beautiful hotel. I stayed there about 4 years ago for a conference (the hotel's clients are about 50% convention visitors).

The Duck Parade is not to be missed. I believe they come down the elevator around 10 ish and go back up around 4 ish. It's quite a sight! Call ahead for times as not to miss it.

The hours in between 10 and 4 the ducks splash around in the hotel fountain. It's a really nice sight. The food at the hotel was delicious. Enjoy.

Actually the Peabody Duck March is at 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM. My wife got a chance to see it recently at the Peabody Hotel in Little Rock, and she loved it.

As far as the B-Line Diner, I've never been there, but I recently saw a segment on Food Network about it. It looks like they serve a combination of traditional diner food and modern gourmet meals.

Yum---getting excited about going to Orlando! We will definitely go to the duck march and the B-line. The website said 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. as well. I think we will time it to be there about 4 or so, look around a little, see the duck march, and then eat dinner!
