Info needed on AKL and WL

Can't decide between AKL and WL. Do they both have food courts?

Yes, they do both have food courts. AKL's is called "Mara" and WL's is called "Roaring Fork Snack Shop". I have never stayed at WL but so many people LOVE it.
We stayed at AKL in Oct. and are going back for Spring Break. Can't wait! The resort is absolutely amazing in and of itself. There are two fabulous restaurants - Boma and Jiko. There are, of course, the ANIMALS. And there are many activities for kids AND adults: Culinary Tour, Pool activities, Spirit of Africa Art Tour, Flamingo Feedings, African Rag Doll Making, The Music of the Savanna, Animal Viewing with Night Vision, Cultural Safari, and on and on! We really loved it.
Oh, and DIRECT bus service to each of the parks. Good luck deciding...

I love both......but I prefer to stay on water, so WL is my fave.

I'd say everyone should stay at least once at AKL-it is unique.
Rooms are same size...lobby and food court at AKL are larger.

I've stayed at WL, not AKL. I really LOVED WL.

I have stayed at both Resorts, while the AKL is beautiful and the animals are wounderful. (it is just to far away from the other Parks for me)...I prefer the Wilderness Lodge it is close to MK and has the marina, bike rentals, Ft. Wilderness is close, you also have all the great restaurants at CR and Poly....it's just GREAT and BEAUTIFUL.

I would ask your family... do they want to be close to MK in a wilderness lodge theme? away from the action with animals near by? The two resorts are set up very similarily, but are very different in theming and location.
