Info needed for neighbor...

I'm posting in hopes that you might help me help my neighbor. She upgraded to AP's on her Easter vacation after becoming hooked on WDW! She booked flights for Oct. 22-29 and is excited for her first Halloween-time stay.

Does anyone have any idea when and if AP rates for that time will be released? She is interested in the WL, AKL and the mods. Does anyone who stayed in these resorts last year remember what rates they had? Also, if she is interested in MNSSHP, how soon should she book that and her meal?

If she is certain what night they will attend MNSSHP she should buythe tickets NOW and book her ADR at the same time.
Most guests want LTT for dinner, and those go fast. A LTT ADR may be even hard to get now for a prime time on MNSSHP nights.
I canceled our Halloween night LTT ADR about a week before and KNEW I was making someone's day!

There were no AP rates released last October. There were a few at the beginning that was part of the September release. WDW was starting the new best rate program and skipped October. As we have just seen again with Disney not offering any AP rates for June, the future of AP discounts are questionable and never guaranteed. My advice to your neighbor is to book the resort she can afford to stay at at rack rate and if a discount is release she can upgrade.
