Info needed about Continental

I am flying from Cle to Stl and was wondering what Continental's policy is for gate checking bags. I am traveling with a duffle bag on a regional jet and I know the bag won't fit in the overhead and really don't want to check my bag. Any info is helpful. Thanks.

Not sure what the policy is... but if it is within the "carry-on" size you can gate check it. Just get a tag from the gate agent and hand it off as you enter the plane. It should be waiting for you when you deplane.

Most of their regional jets use a jetway at Cleveland, so you will not have to go out on the tarmac.
