Info in Anguilla

To anyone who is considering trying the little island of Anguilla just off of St Marteen, we unfourtunatly missed our chance on the 11-1 Eastern cruise due to I.D. problems. The info we had from an Anguilla web site said that passports were not required if you had photo I.D. and an official birth certificate. Fortunatly for us one of the people directing guests at the traffic stand asked if we had brought our passports from the ship, no chance of getting on the island without passports!! The gentleman said he had others come back from trying without passports and it was a no go, the policy has been more strictly enforced since 9-11. We headed to Dawn Beach and ended up having a wonderfull time, great snorkeling and really good food (and cheap beer!) at a place called Ms. B's. Just thought Id through this info out there to help others considering this route, Thanks!

Sorry you didn't get to go to Anguilla. We also went to Dawn beach and had a ball!
