Just thought it would stand out more to make a new thread.
As far as the holiday dreams goes, I know many don't know what to tell players when they ask where the contest is, seeing as how it is against VMK Values to direct players to other sites. I asked Phinny in Defy Gravity just now, and she says to tell them it is Holiday Dreams Contest from "he.bay."

She said this about Lily's scheduled game that never showed up:

(I also overheard her say, "If you think the football room is cool, wait until you see the rooms next month!")

so if we didn't like the football room, does that mean we will really not like the next room? :teeth:

LOL cap it better be a christmas room since I really want to move my holiday room from the yeti room into another

I agree, the broken, ripped apart, smoking train and the twisted railroad tracks don't make for a good christmas room..

I don't think they should make a holiday-themed room, especially because there are people that don't celebrate Christmas (like me)...

I don't mean to be argumentative, but I wonder if it would be ok to have a holiday-themed (read: "Christmas-themed") room if they also made non-Christmas room? Say a Chanukah room? After all, we'll need someplace to put our dreidel chairs...

Of course... they didn't make a Halloween room... but we do already have the 'Mansion Conservatory and M's Evil Fortress... So maybe those apply. And I agree with the above that the Yeti room, though snowy - well... that twisted wreackage doesn't lend itself to a winter wonderland. Maybe they'll just come out with a Rockwellian-esque pine tree and snow filled barn room or ski cabin. So while not actually Christmas it would be wintery... But who am I kidding? That would be Christmasy... So what would be Chanukahy? I must admit I'm not up on my Jewish Traditions. And then does that mean next year we have a Kwanza rooms? Are the Safari and Tent rooms already usable for this?

OR... maybe we're looking at this all wrong. Wasn't there something mentioned a while ago that there would be a classic Disney room? We are getting all this Dreams stuff... maybe we're getting a Peter Pan themed Never Never Land island room or some kind of Sleeping Beauty Castle room (more celebration ball room, less evil fortress). Anyone?

What I would love would be a Sky/Clouds room! Much like our Fantasyland Skies public room. :teeth:

So because not everyone celebrates Christmas there should be no Holiday room.... I dont totally agree with that thinking, sorry.

I would love to see a Holiday room of some sort... with lots of different types of things to fill it with...

I second that. I don't think we should not have the option just because a group of people don't celebrate that holiday. That isn't fair to those who do. Last year, a special Hannukah pin was released to include Jewish players along with a Christmasy pin. Having both is fair, but not having the option is not.

It probably was a little short-sighted of her to say "No holiday rooms because
some of us don't celebrate Christmas."

I am also Jewish, but I can't deny that a holiday room would definitely be
a good thing to have. :thumbsup2 Personally, I don't care if there's a
Christmas room if there's no Hanukkah room. I made my own Hanukkah room,
so that's good enough for me. :cloud9:

Perhaps they will have both, so as Goofy Bob said, we'd have a place for
dreidel chairs.
