Info for trip 11/28 - 12/3

My dh and I are planning a trip to ASMO for 11/28 - 12/3. We have never been for Christmas time. We already have our MVMCP tickets and PS for LTT. I was just wondering about the weather, crowds and the times the parks close. Could anyone who has gone during this time please give us some insight?

Welcome to the Dis BamaGrad You have selected Thanksgiving weekend for your trip which will be one of the busiest weekends of the year. If you're concerned about crowds, try to reschedule for a week or two earlier/later. Not to say you won't have fun, but it will be crowded and probably packed.
The upside: The parks will be open later, there will be plenty of holiday happenings, and the weather will most likely be PERFECT Also WDW during the holidays is about as good as it gets(provided that you observe Christmas).

We were there last year Friday through Wednesday after Thanksgiving. It will be packed on Friday and Saturday. Will thin out a little on Sunday and you should be fine Monday through Wednesday.

Last year we did AK on Friday. It was crowded, but manageable. We hung out a little at the resort on Saturday and then headed to Epcot. Again crowded but manageable. MK was fine on Sunday.

Make all of your PS early. I waited until about a month before and couldn't get restaurants or times that we wanted on Friday or Saturday, as well as the evening of MVMCP.

Everyone on the dis advises to stay away from MK until at least Sunday. If you're not into commando style and just go with the flow you'll be fine.
