Hi,
We are arriving from Australia in Nov. Our plane arrives in Orlando at 8pm, so, I am wondering whether the busses that transfer people to Disneyworld will still be running at that time or later? I suppose by the time we have been through customs and got our luggage it may be 10pm, I'm really worried that It's too late to catch the shuttle! Can we check into the CR that late? And, will it be safe to be travelling late at night in Orlando? Hope someone reassure me! Thanks everyone. :wave2:

Hello!

From what I understand, the busses run 24 hours a day. I don't think you will have any problems.

Also, you should be completely safe inside the Orlando Airport any time of day or night. You won't be leaving the airport - just getting right onto the Disney bus and heading straight to your resort.

Hope that helps!

No worries! pirate:

Don't know about the busses, but as far as safety and the CR, you'll be fine!

I live on the West coast of the US, so an evening arrival is standard for us.

I've never had any problems getting to the park, or checking in.

A 9 am flight usually gets me there about 8 pm due to a stop on the way and three hour time change.

I would verify transport if I were arriving much after midnight, but any time before that should not be much of a wait.

My family has arrived at all hours of the day and night in Orlando (we live on the West Coast of the US). I don't know who you will be using for your transporation needs, but just make sure to have their US phone number with you when you arrive.

For example, my college-aged son arrived in the Orlando Airport last October at 1:30 AM. I had booked the Mears bus (click here) for his transportation needs. I told him that when he got off the plane, to place a phone call to Mears and let them know that he had arrived. He did as he was told (good boy ;) ). Mears informed him that they would send a shuttle to pick him up in approximately 20 minutes. They told him where to go to find that shuttle. After he hung up the phone, he went to get his luggage and then went to the pick-up location. Like clockwork, a shuttle van arrived within 20 minutes. My son gave the driver his confirmation slip (I had pre-paid for his transportation) and his luggage. Approximately 30 minutes later, he was knocking on my resort room door.

I hope you have a safe trip to WDW and a wonderful vacation.
