Hi Folks,

My wife and I are travelling to DLRP in three weeks time. My wife has been 3 times before, and we are taking our 2yr old son and her parents. What tips can you give me> We are staying in the Santa Fey hotel for 4 nights, but will stay in a cheap hotel the night before and then arrive at DLRP and dump our cases and go to the park for the day.

Ok making sense:- What is the best F1 hotel to stay in before and then hotel near Dunkerque for the last night. Also, I don't know Disney - what's best for a 2yr old, then us if his grandparents take him?

Sorry for being abrupt, but I need to be converted:grouphug: :scared:

Hi naebad and welcome to DLP DIS board :wave2:
We are a friendly bunch here so please join in on any other thread or if you have a number of questions then just start a new thread for each :goodvibes

If you have not had a look yet, DLP posting rules are here, DIS posting guidelines can be found here.

You will have a great time with your two year old. If you don't think you will have a great time then you have come to the wrong place. Stay at home and let your wife and in-laws enjoy all that DLP has to offer :lmao: ;)

Have a look at a few threads especially the photo and trip reports and start to see what is on offer :goodvibes

With 4 nights at the Santa Fe, thats 5 days in the parks, right?
In that time, believe me, you'll have plenty time to find everything for all ages in your group, and do them all over again :goodvibes .

Try and do your character meet n greets etc all together as a family - seeing the look on your 2-year-olds face when they meet the characters is priceless, and I'm sure mum, dad, granny and grandad would be just as exciting seeing your childs expression (and personally speaking, there are some characters I race DD to see :rotfl2: ).

If your budget can stretch to etap instead of f1 - 40 euro or so a night - there is an ensuite shower room.
i can vouch for the one in bry-sur-marne.
the new one in val d'europe is 15 euro more a night but obviously it's a bit closer to the park.

I didn't think I'd enjoy DLP as much as I did, but we first went for my elder son's second birthday, and we all had a wonderful time. there is so much there for a two-year-old to do.

as you're at santa fe, you'll be able to use extra magic hours which mean you can go on rides without queueing and I would recommend buzz lightyear's laser blast for a two-year-old. they can spin the car around and shoot at targets.
