We booked our upcoming Disney Baltic cruise on points in October 2008. At the time, the cruise line was charging a fuel supplement charge. For our two staterooms I had to pay in the vicinity of $380.
As they stated at the time, the policy was reviewed prior to my cruise date and it was determined that the charges would be applied to my staterooms as an onboard credit (refundable if so desired). This is great news! With excursions and other expenses this will be a welcome prepaid credit amount for us.
It had been on my to do list to follow up on this, but I found this information over on the Disney Cruise Line website, already taken care of for us! Good news for anyone else who may have paid the fuel supplement charge for any upcoming cruises. Definitely worth checking out!
