I think that is the name of it, at the Beach Club. I am interested in going as it looks really cute. It would probably be for a light lunch with dessert of course! Any thoughts on it? Good or bad? Is it hard to get into? I read where it has limited seating and saw it on a show, so wondering if I should or could make ADR. Thanks for your help!

It's one of our favorites.

It's very small, so if you go at busy times you'll have to wait.

They don't take ADRs.

We always go right when they open, or around 2 pm, and we've never had to wait.

Fun environment...our party of 5 was seated at the bar within 10 minutes of arrival between 6:45 and 7:00 pm. All of us--2 adults, and 3 kids 10, 15, 16 loved it. Food and service were great!

This is a great place. Just take a boat from the International Gateway if your in Epcot to the Beach Club dock It is located near the pool area. Or you can take a bus to Beach club from one of the parks or DTD. If you like Onion Rings be sure and order them. You can subsitue the fries for onion rings with your sandwich order which is what I did.

I have to admit that we thought this place was highly overrated. We were so excited to go there after hearing all of the rave reviews. To us, their food was average! :confused3 Hope you enjoy it though. Tink

We go there every trip. And we have it on our schedule when we go this May! :cool1:

No, they don't take ADRs. Yes, it is pretty small. No, it is not a gourmet restaurant. YES, it is a great, fun place.

We usually go at "off hours" - usually for a late lunch or early dinner. Usually about 3:30 - 4:00 p.m. We've only had to wait once - and that was about 10 minutes.

We go knowing full aware what to expect. It is a throwback to an old-fashioned soda fountain. Burgers, fries, onion rings, hot dogs, ice cream. Nothing more, nothing less.

It wouldn't be a trip to Disney World without a trip to Beaches and Cream for my family.

Go - have fun - enjoy!!

We had truly dreadful food and service there. It isnt high on our list of places to return to. :sad2:

ITA! It was tinier than I imagined, and didn't think it had much atmosphere either. Family wants to never go back. We did have fun checking out the resort and playing in the arcade next door. I guess it's worth a try...you never know.

Or you can walk (5 - 10 minutes from the IG). It is almost not worth it to take the boat, as the walk from the boat dock to B&C is almost as long as the walk from IG (I exaggerate, but not by much).

We always stay at the Yacht or Beach Club and we ALWAYS have to hit Beaches and Cream for at least a sundae on our trip and sometimes the burgers :) We love it there :)

Also thought it was overrated. 20 minute wait at 3:00 in the afternoon. Slow service. Overpriced for what we got. Food was "just ok." And the ice cream is better at Ghiradellis. And dirty, although its been closed and refurbished since we went, it is the dirtiest WDW restaurant I've ever been in. But a lot of people rave about this place.

It's a great little ice cream stand. The rest of it is just hype!

We're just back from a week at WDW, ate at B&C for dinner. Arrived at 7:15 and were seated within 15 minutes. We simply sat on a lounge chair at SAB watching the ducks and enjoying the warm evening.
I have to agree on the dirt--my family all noticed the dirty floor!! Maybe because it's so close to the pool, but the floor seemed almost "muddy" (the table was clean, as were the utensils).
We went there for the fun atmosphere, and we weren't disappointed. The food: the chicken sandwich was good and the French Dip was not fatty. We were satisfied. Service also was attentive, though it wasn't incredibly busy.
It's a place everyone should try once, IMHO.

Hmmm, sounds like some mixed reviews. Although I think all places are like that. Some we hit last time I thought weren't so great but did book them again. I think we'll stop in for ice cream atleast, you never until you try! Appreciate all the info and thoughts!

Many posts have claimed B&C has the "best burgers at WDW". If you go expecting that, it will seem overrated. There are places where you can get better burgers -- but at those places it will cost $11-$12. At $7 the burgers at B&C are a great value, as are the onion rings at $4. The ice cream is pretty good too as others have mentioned. This is not the world's greatest anything, but for us it's definitely worth going to. If you were wandering around in an unfamiliar seashore resort town, you'd probably be thrilled to find a place like this.

We have hit this place at least twice on each of our last two trips. We did have an hour wait one time, but we went right at Dinner Time. I still thought it was worth the wait. The prices are great and you leave feeling horribly STUFFED! :)

We've eaten at Beaches and Cream many times and enjoy it. We've brought another family and they gave it a thumbs up as well. Of course there will be mixed reviews since I think it's a tendency to read such great things about a place that expectations are so high and what someone's idea of a "perfect" cheeseburger may be totally different from someone else's.

The "mixed" reviews on B & C are what Disney is all about. They want you to try ALL of their restaurants to decide what you and your family like the best. Every restaurant has people who love it, and people who don't. Food service will always be that way. I personally think B & C is great. The best burgers I've tasted anywhere. But maybe that's just because I'm at WDW! I never save enough room for the kitchen sink. But then again, is it possible to actually have enough room for the kitchen sink?
