We are planning to snorkel with our 6 & 9 year olds, but would like to bring some sort of flotation device to help them float in case they get water in their mask, etc. We don't want to pack bulky life jackets, but can't find the inflatable ones anywhere. Any suggestions? Both kids can swim and have snorkeled before, but I just want a little security, so they feel comfortable. Would water wings serve the purpose? Any suggestions would be much appreciated!
Thanks!

I would go with the water wings. I did a quick search online for the inflatable life vests and saw that they were very expensive (over $100).

Sue,

If you're only planning on snorkling at Castaway Cay, Disney provides (and requires) these for all guests that are snorkling free of charge.

Also, planned excursions on other islands often include a life vest as well. If you're snorkling on your own on other islands, then, yeah, you'd need some :)
