staying at Swan and not allowed cot in room (we're also getting crib). So...what to do with 6+ yr old???

Which would you recommend - an inflatable mattress or inflatable sleeping bag for 6+ yr old???

BIGGEST CONCERN:
ALSO, my biggest concern is DEFLATING...it always seems like it takes DAYS+ before all the air is out. So...if we have this at WDW, how in the world will we be able to get ALL of the air out so that it fits back into the car?????

pls advise ASAP!!!!

thx

how many people are you trying to put in this room, and why can't you get a rollaway?

i just bought an aerobed twin for our DVC vacations (15yo DS hates the pull-out sofa ~ he piled the chair cushions on the floor & slept on them last time :( ).

fyi, it is a "deluxe" twin (has durable/soft cover), with carrying case, built-in pump, & inflates in less than 60 seconds, TOTALLY deflates in about 15 seconds. EXTREMELLY comfortable (yup, we tested it ~ it's better than many "real" mattresses!)

fyi, i bought mine at L&T (but checked a lot of places):
price was $130 ("regular" twin is $99), less 20% coupon equals $104, and they have a $15 mail-in rebate ($10 rebate for standard twin) ~ making my cost about $89.

(note that you can get a real aerobed queen at costco for about $130, inexpensive queen "aerobed copies" at walmart ~ alas, i only wanted a twin).

i know we'll get a lot of use with it (vacations, sleepovers, etc), so it was DEFINATELY worth the price for us.

I bought a blow up sleeping bag bed at Target for about $25. It comes with it's own carrying case and uses a hand pump to blow it up. This doesn't take too long, about 5 mins and it only takes about 10 mins to deflate. My DD is 3 and she loves it, as do her friends. We took it with us to DW on our last trip as she didn't want to share a bed with her grandma. I highly recommend it.

Are you getting a room with 2 beds or one? If you are getting just one, I would recommend getting two. Then the 6 year old could sleep in one bed, you and your spouse in the other, with the baby in the crib. I can't imagine there being that much floor space for a crib and an air mattress without everyone stepping on the 6 year old.
