Hello having a bit of sticker shock for our upcoming trip, we have two rooms but one double occupancy queen beds and one single occupancy room. The single occupancy room is not much less of a double occupancy room and we would like to add that person into the double occupancy room. we are concerned about sleeping arrangements, this would be for me I would be the one sleeping on the inflatable bed. would it be possible to have an inflatable bed and at least one scooter possibly two in the room for sleeping? Inflatable bed is a twin, I’m not concerned with moving around the room, just fitting everything. we’re not spending a lot of time in there and we are literally just going to be sleeping there. The people with the scooter and potential scooter will probably be in the room before me and settled in when I get there at night. I will also be the first one up in the morning so the bed will not be on the ground when they’re trying to move around.
what do you think?

I stayed at cbr a few months ago with my 3 friends. I don't do well with other people in bed with me, so I brought an air mattress into our 2 queen room. I was able to kinda squeeze it in between the beds. It didn't fully fit, but since I pumped it up while it was between the beds, it just was a little narrower then usual. Then you'd have space for the scooters in the rest of the room!

Perfect, thank you! It is.going to save us an obscene amount of money, so I am going for it!

There's a drop down bed in front of the tv - could you use that? We did, and even though it was a bit tight, we could handle 5 people in the room and a knee scooter. To be honest, I think 2 scooters and how many people (?) in one CBR room would be a tight squeeze. Adding an inflatable bed would be pretty tricky with 2 scooters. You'd have to ask them to remove the table and the 2 chairs to have any room to get around the scooters.

I thought about the drop down bed, but apparently it is small. We can park one of the scooters in the bathroom I think. I am going to go for it, it is too much money to "waste". Thank you for your input.

I would have anxiety in that situation. Parking a scooter in the bathroom will still allow privacy to close the door? What if people need to get up to use the bathroom in the night? I'm not trying to talk you out of it, but I see safety issues all over the place. Safe travels.

Make sure that both scooters are fully charged overnight, every night so that the scooter driver does not have to worry about battery charge issues the next day.

Call Housekeeping (there should be a button on your phone, if not, reach out to the front desk) and ask for any extraneous furniture to be removed to make room for the scooters to park and charge overnight.

There are sliding doors to the sink area, I think? And then a regular door that opens into the toilet/shower area? We were there last summer, in a water-view room, and I think that's what we had.

Thank you all!
We will definitely call to have extra stuff removed, great tip.
From the video I found online there is a pocket door to the bathroom and looked like room for the scooter in front of the sink. In the morning when I get up I will prop my bed up and move the bathroom scooter outside while we pull ourselves together.

I think the hassle and inconvenience is well worth the 5000 we will be saving!

what kind of room costs $5000 at CBR? Wow! Just make sure you add the person to the room occupancy numbers. That will add a small nightly fee to the room if it makes it 3 adults. But not close to $5000!

The poster was booking 2 room. One of the rooms only had one guest. They now want to put everyone in one room.

I know, that is why I wanted to make sure they add the guest to the CBR room that they are keeping to have the correct occupancy numbers and magic band access etc. They also need to be aware there may be an extra adult charge in the room now.

Depending on length of trip and time of year there are several WDW resorts that could hit the $5,000 range, especially once taxes are added in. Rack rate at CBR runs near $500/night at the holidays.

Youll be

I miss read the post. I thought 4K was the original price for both room. Seems high. A very long sray. Peak holiday week. OR one quote includes tickets and the other is room only

Both rooms include park hopper tickets with genie plus. 11 night stay, 10 day tickets. Preferred room due to roll in shower for the og double occupancy. Had the second room also preferred so they could be close together. Adding me to the other room (this dropping the single occupancy) only added 1000 to that package. The room with single occupancy was close to 6000. It was insane, but we are limited when we could go and had foolishly hoped Disney would be releasing sone sort of discount the first or second week of December! In any event, the single occupancy rates are insane. They always have been. I routinely travel as a third wheel and typicalls stay at the Pop Century because of it. Even so, I have always paid nearly as much as the people I travel with even though they had two adults in their room.

We absolutely will be adding the 3rd person to the room, not trying to do anything not on the up and up.

the room cost is the same whether it is 1 adult, 2 adults, or 2 adults and 2 minors. They never decrease price for one person in a hotel room at Disney and in my experience most other places. Most rooms have an extra adult fee for more than 2 over 18 in a room. The tickets are the same price per person no matter the occupancy whether a package or not. You were needlessly paying for another hotel room if everyone does not mind sharing a room. Where a single person really gets hit is cruising. Most cruises cost almost the same for 1 or 2 people in a cabin.

Well, before I was traveling with a couple and their small child. We all could have happily sure the room but I was worried my coming in after clothes would wake up the child and my getting up early might also wake up the child. That was why I never wanted to share a room before. This time I'm traveling with all adults and I doubt they will even know that I come in so late because they will be sound asleep.

yeah we are way too cheap to pay that to stay at CBR (especially because we do not like that resort at all). They probably increased prices since it is the skyliner hub. I would not pay that much to stay deluxe (which is why we probably won't ever stay deluxe again). But every person has different likes/dislikes and items they will splurge on.
