infants/babies on rides?

our son will be 19 months when we go and i am wondering something. i know he can go on most of the rides aside from the larger rides with HR's and am wondering if the he sits on the seat next to me in the rides or if he sits on my lap? or maybe it depends on the ride? like HM, POTC, peter pan and all that, i am tryin to plan who will ride with who but this is something im not sure one. anyone who can give me some info its very appreciated! thanks!

My dd is 5 now and still sits on my lap for most of the rides... that way dh, she and I can all fit in 1 car. Splash, BTMRR, Star Tours, Soarin and Space are the exceptions, and you don't need to worry about those cause of the height requirements. Seems to me that a couple of the bugs land rides she had to sit next to me... maybe ladybug boogie?? oh, and maybe teacups too... probably cause they are spinny!

My DD was 2 on our last trip and Teacups did not make me sit her beside me (although the Elmo teacups @ Sea World in SD did), actually I dont think there was a problem holding her on any of the rides that were age appropriate for toddlers (fantasyland,etc.) I know for sure she sat on my lap on Peter Pan,but now they have made the seats bigger so me DD and DBF can all fit into the seat comfortably. I was surprised at how understanding the CM's were about toddler's wanting to sit on their parents lap.....hmm...come to think of it.. I think Dumbo does not allow babies on the lap. YOu can ask in line and they will be most helpful!

Off the top of my head I can tell you that they will require him to sit down on the seat on Autopia. They made sure my DD was on her butt on the seat when she rode with me.

Autotopia and Roger Rabbit (depending on the CM) they require them to sit next to you....maybe TSMM?

TSMM they can sit in your lap for sure... my dd helped me "shoot"... and we've always had her in our lap for Roger Rabbit too...

thats great. so my final question then i guess would be how many people are in each car on rides? does HM have 3 seats? the reason is we have 3 adults coming and im wondering if baby is on my lap can my mom and my husband all fit in the buggy, and how about others such as pooh, alice, peterpan, all the fun kids rides? thanks so much for all the help everyone this is such a wonderful board and so much help for planning!

Looking at the picture of you, your hubby and baby, the 3 of you should all be able to fit on most rides together--but not 3 adults and a baby. Hubby, dd and I almost always went in the same car. DD in a lap and the two of us next to eachother. Dumbo and AstroOrbiters we could only go 2 of us... dh went in another car/elephant. Pirates and Small world of course you are on a boat, and there is more room across... I think that is all that would pertain to a 19 month old...

I am not sure if you all could fit on one buggy.

When we went my wife and I with our 6 year old and 10 month old fit in one buggy but it was tight. I couldn't imagine 3 adults and a toddler in the same car.

For reference I am 6'3" 212 pounds and my wife is 5'1" 110 pounds. My daughter is very small and weighs right under 40 pounds so three adults would be tight unless they were all super thin.
