Yes infants are people :) However when you make an ADR should you count then in your number? I know that if you book crt for 4 then they expect 4 and charge you for 4 even though the child will not be eating. However if you book one less Lets say a res for 4 when there are 4 and an infant. Will there be enough room at the table for them?

I know for a regular ADR you have to list them, because for building/ fire codes infants count as people towards the total capacity allowed.

But for ADR's where you have to provide a credit card, I don't know. Best to call on these.

Yes, they still count. You have to enter ages so they will charge you for adults at adult rate, children at children rate and infants at nothing.

For all non-prepaid meals, the ages of the people don't matter. The bill will be based on who shows up. So, if you have a party of 2 adults, 1 12 year old, 1 6 year old, and 1 2 year old, it would still be 5.

For the prepaid meals (CRT and Dinner Shows), the ages are taken into account when you book (that's likely the reason they are on the "old" system still). In this case, the system will ask the ages of the children and determine pricing off of that. Even in this case, you count the "infant", but no extra charge is applied for them.

You have to make every reservation based on the total number of people who will be at the table regardless of age so that you are seated at an appropriate sized table.

I called to double check this since we will have a 3 month old with us.. he won't need a seat and won't eat but they have to be included in the reservation number.. for what the previous poster said capacity levels etc

You definitely have to include them. When you book pre-paid meals they ask ages and won't charge you for the infants. They WILL though still charge the automatic 18% gratuity for parties where an infant causes you to have 5 or more people even though they aren't a paying customer.

I agree with the others. Infants have to be include in the number of people count on the reservation.
