We are bringing 3 other families when we go in June. There will be 4 infants in the group. For EMH do they have to bring room key cards for the infants to show they are on site or just cards for the over 3 crowd? Obviously the babies are staying with their parents and we are all onsite at GCV. I’ve never brought babies to DLR before.

As of December and January when I was there, they no longer even put everyone's names on room keys! We had our family of five and they told us policy now was only the adult had to show the key!

President's weekend, we needed 1 key per person. (3 adults, 1 child, we needed 4 keys.)

Going again this weekend, so guess we'll see if last two times was a fluke! Now, to clarify, I was talking about at the turnstiles, not once in the park to get past certain roped off areas.

Both times, the CM's at the gate told me we only needed to show 1 key per family.

But I've also never heard of them even issuing keys to anyone in the room under 3. Of course, it's been a while since our kids have been that age! LOL

Did you end up needing a key for your infant? Or just one for the family?

Sorry, just got home yesterday on the red eye and had a field trip with my son all day to EPCOT, so to say I was exhausted last night is an understatement! LOL.

Okay, I only needed to show 1 key. But, I think I know why now and it may not be the same for everyone else. My husband works for Disney so I sign the others in with me for the day, so I'm guessing that's the only reason I need to show only one key!

But, I did pay attention for you while waiting in lines, and it appeared only adults and older looking kids had to show the keys, I did not see them require it to be shown for pretty much any kid in a stroller!!

Sorry, hope that helps, just realized while I was there that my situation is not the same! I did notice that it really also depends on who you get!! I saw many CM's being sticklers and some just let the kids go when just a parent showed the key, so I'd say it's also just random sometimes as well!

Thank you. I will have them be prepared either way.

I wonder if party size is a factor. Last time we stayed on site and did EMH, there were always at least 5 of us together, sometimes the entire party of 8. And every time each person had to show their own room key.
