Are you going to have access to a car? If so, it might be worth your while to go to the Beltz Outlet Mall at the end of International Drive and go to Character Premier and Character Warehouse. They are outlet stores for WDW and you can get all sorts of great stuff for 50% or more off. All their inventory comes from the WDW parks. There's one in St. Augustine too. It is my favorite store! I have gotten all sorts of great deals there! :cool1:

What some Mickey snacks? They have pretzels, rice krispie treats, and a bunch of other stuff that are in the shape of Mickey. They are true Disney souveneirs as I don't think you can buy them anywhere else!

A good and reasonable souvenir to get would be candy of some sort. I'd go to the candy store on Main Street at Magic Kingdom near the entrance. Or the candy store in MGM near the villian store (actually I believe they are the same). Or at the World of Disney Store in DTD.

They have all kinds of candy in Mickey shapes or candy bars or Princess animal crackers etc...

Also, all kinds of pens, frames, key chains.

If you have access to car, go to walmart. they have mickey mouse things real cheap. A suggestion could be a keychain with their names. I beleive they were under $3 a piece.

I want to say I read somewhere that they open or are opeing a store in DTD that is everything $10.00 or under. I have no idea where I read this. I hope I can find out so I can verify that it wasn't a dream lol

For my DD's friends who love the Princesses I brought back a Princess wand filled with candy that had Cinderella on it and some pretty streamers for $2.95 and I also brought them back one of those plastic cups that have two layers with water and sparkly things and characters inside that move around. Those were $3. I also found some bracelets for little ones with names spelled out in pastel beads and they had Mickey head shaped beads for $6. I didn't have to bring back anything for boys except for one 12-year-old and I brought him back a clip-on lanyard with a clear plastic fastpass holder that was $6.

There is a store opening at marketplace where everything is under $10, mickey's mart. read it on allearsnet.com

You could buy them each a pin, or a small character beannie, or lots of things at the outlets- they usually have tshirts, magnets, postcards, little girl's jewlery, notepads, pens, little plastic toys, mugs, coloring books, dvds, cds, etc. You could always pool the money for the twins and see if they have a Disney World book or dvd they can share. If not, there's always tons of other stuff....at DTD, I'm sure you can find small things for their rooms, or those WDW expandable washclothes, candy, little statues, etc. Maybe you can find ornaments or discounted light spinners. Can you tell that I'm a Disney shopaholic?

I realize that you are saying you want to "bring something back" but I wonder if I can just buy something at home before you go. Here are some things I have found, very inexpensively, to give when we return from our trip. I never say " we brought this back for you" just that we "have something for you".

Dollar Store:
Disney princess-keychains, stickers, small purse (like coin purse), and princess barrettes.
Mickey or other characters-keychains, mini-flashlights, pen/paper set (small), small photo album, stickers

From WalMart-small Princess dolls (under $5), keychains, princess jewelry, t-shirts from clearance rack.

Disney Store-watch for a great clearance sale-I've bought some t-shirts for our neighbor's young kids (parents watched our house) and was able to get some great character shirts for the kids for about $5. We got the parents a couple of Mickey head towels from WDW with Mickey soap for under $15.

I'm not trying to discourage you from getting something on your trip, but your own souveniers add up plus if you getting them for lots of others it can really take a toll on your budget, time and suitcase space! HTH!

In China, they sell very cute fans, you get to pick each design, for $5.00 each. You can have the child's name written in Chinese directly on the fan. Girl's love stuff like this. And they are old enough to understand the "different culture" concept and may find it interesting to see thier name written in a different language. They also do those umbrellas but those are $15 each.

The fans and umbrellas in China are a great idea for a gift - it is really cool to have them personalized in Chinese charatcter. The good news is- the large umbrellas are $15- they have 2 smaller sizes at 2 lower prices.

The umbrella was my dds souvenier. She saw it the ist day of our trip but didn't want to blow her souvie budget on the 1st day. On the last day we went back and got it. She loves it still.
