Does anyone know where I can find some inexpensive short sleeve polo shirts in a solid khaki/tan/beige color? The only ones I can find in that color are all $30+ each. I can't pay that much because I need to buy 2 or 3 for my work uniform. I didn't know it would be so difficult to find polo shirts in this color :confused3

Our local Goodwill has Polo shirts for about $4 and they sort them by color.

Thanks but I've checked both of those places and they don't have that color. I've only been able to find the color online, and they were really expensive at the sites I found them on.

Land's End in Sears has some, not sure what colors, on clearance right now for $9.99.

I use this place. I have the parameters set for boys polo shirts. Here is an example of the tan (they call it sand).

Good prices and good quality. We use them every year to get our basic shirts and we also screen print shirts for my sisters classroom. They can wear "spirit shirts" on Friday. She teaches in a low income area so this helps them get an extra uniform shirt. Mom and I pay to have them printed locally and ship them to her :)

Inexpensive but still decent quality I have found at Target. They usually have a good selection of colors. Also, keep an eye on Land's End Overstocks and when the right color is added, buy several if you know you will be keeping this job for a while.

Lands' End has them in a color called maplewood. It's kind of a darker tan-khaki. Mesh are $19.50 and pima cotton are $24.50. If you buy 3 or more you save $2.50 per shirt. I've found that Lands' End is the best. They don't shrink and they last forever. I've tried Kohl's and Target and neither holds a candle to Lands' End.

Old Navy and Aeropostle have them. When they have sales, they are about $4 per shirt and pretty well-made. The ones for uniforms don't have the Aero logo on them, either. :thumbsup2

I would go with Land's End. They wear like iron, and if they fall apart you get your money back. Keep in mind that you will be washing and washing and washing these shirts. In the end it will be cheaper to buy Land's End, versus buying something cheaper now, and then having to replace it.

It's really too bad you couldn't find something at Salvation Army. That would have been the best deal!

Ebay...if you have a certain name brand in mind. The Lands End are good quality, we used them for uniform tops one year (Dr office) and they held up well.

My nephew buys his pocket tee shirts to wear under his home depot uniform. We buy them in Kohl's. There are several brands on sale this week, both online and in the store.

I would suggest anywhere that sells blanks for embroidery/printing... as they usually offer a wide selection of colors at relatively low prices. :thumbsup2

We currently use Blankshirts.com for our music association apparel purchases (I then get them custom embroidered locally).

I second Old Navy, and also..oddly...Costco. Can't be sure they'll have that one color, or in your size, but I know I just bought DH a plain green polo from there for about $12. And unlike Old Navy, it's pretty well-manufactured material.

If there's a foot locker near you, I would check there. I can usually get DH shirts there 4 for $20.
