We are spending 7 days at Universal this summer. We will be doing the parks leisurely adn so will have time to go eat dinner offsite a few nights. Any tips on where we should go?

I recall reading about CiCis pizza (which location?) and Sweet Tomato (which location?) Any other suggestions?

We have done the dinner and a movie deal which many of the Citywalk restaurants participate in.

There is a Denny's just across the street. It is on a street with several hotels. Sorry I forgot the name of the street.

Sweet Tomatoes is a good choice, at the corner of Kirkman Road and International Drive.

Orlando Alehouse (on Kirkman, near that entrance to Universal, tho there are others around town) has good food, usually good service, and is not expensive. It does become more of a bar as the night wears on, but is definitely more of a restaurant early in the evening.

There is a Golden Corral right near the entrance as well. It is very reasonably priced, and we really enjoy the food. We like Cici's also.

Bubbalou's Bodacious Bar*B*QUE. The very best barbecue around! Their prices are very reasonable too. They have several locations in the Orlando area, but this one is less than a mile from Universal:
Kirkman Road / Universal Studios
5818 Conroy Road
Orlando, FL 32835

And another vote for Sweet Tomatoes here.

I was just about to post Bubbalous and then I saw you beat me to it. I only wish I had some of those ribs NOW!!! There there were coupons in the Orlando Entertainment book for BBB last year. It might be worth it to check out the Orlando book and see what else is available then depending on when your trip is scheduled buy the book. The later you get into the season the cheaper the book becomes.
