Inexpensive gift ideas for coworkers????

I'm in the camp of "don't bring back trinkets, buy them breakfast or lunch instead"...if you want to make it "Disney-ish", you can always bring in a pretty Disney tablecloth or plates/napkins for the food you bring in. I'd do coffee/donuts or coffee/bagels/shmear, since breakfast would be the cheaper way to go...and folks will eat a donut or bagel pretty much all day...

Thank you for all these ideas! I think the snack idea is great - we are a transition program for young adults with special needs, so this is approaching the end of our school year. So maybe pizza for lunch, along with the Mickey shaped Rice Krispie treats or other snacks, and maybe the pens would be perfect! They are always out and about in the community with their students but they always find a way to stop by for free food!!! You are all amazing - thank you so much!! (And I could grab some buttons or shampoos for those who ARE Disney fans!!!)

Maybe you could do the pizza etc. and then put together a couple Disney goodie bags to give away as door prizes.

I would buy everyone a mickey straw ($.69) and then make root beer floats for the office when you return.
This is a really cute idea! I also think the six pack Mickey-head suckers for $6 would be cute (would only need 3 packs and could give each person one or put them out in a cup and let people take one of they want), and maybe some special assorted Disney candy to put out would be a nice gesture.

When we were at Disney in February I noticed that a lot of the pins come in multi packs & the same goes for ornaments- I noticed because my daughter wanted to get a few tokens for her friends back home.

I agree with buying lunch and a group Disney snack. Or if you have the authority, can you let them each leave an hour early one day (not all on the same day) to thank them for their extra efforts?

I have a large group of people I work with also.
One idea is to make up a big batch of fudge.
Buy a Mickey head cookie cutter while at Disney and
make some fudge mickey heads for everyone.

or order a set for under 10.00 from Ebay.

I would buy donuts and coffee the first day I was back at work as a thank you. I believe dunkin donuts has a box of coffee that you can purchase.

I brought home the cutest sticky note pads from our last trip. They come in packs, so individually they aren't super expensive.

OP, I think you are really appreciative of your team for working extra hard during your vacation. But that's what teams do for each other and everyone deserves a vacation.

To be honest, I don't think a button or soap/lotion you get for free would make me feel appreciated. And not everyone is as Disney crazy as we are.

I would buy some Disney cookies/treats and bring in coffee to the office and thank everyone one. Or even buy lunch one day.

While thanking them is a great idea, I don't think it has to be Disney related just because that is where you went on your vacation.

This is what I was thinking. I have some coworkers who love Disney, but many wouldn't give a crap about some little trinket or some hotel-size lotion.
Personally, if our manager bought us a pizza lunch to say thanks for doing extra work, we'd be extremely grateful. Also I would let everyone know the day before because people who pack a lunch everyday, like myself, would enjoy knowing that they next day I don't have to pack one and I wouldn't be forced to decide between the provided lunch and they one I already made myself.

I bought packs of Disney themed pens for the people in my office. I think there were about 6 pens in a pack for $7 or $8. I opened the packs and gave everyone a pen. Working in an office, everyone always needs pens.

I also did the pens and got a couple packages of post its, so everyone got a pen and pad of post its. I've also done the rice krispie treats with all our left over snack credits.

Get Mickey straws at Be Our Guest for $.50 each. Take them home and put large marshmallows on the end. Dip in chocolate and sprinkles. You've got your own 'Goofy Candy Company' treats for under $1.00 each.

I brought back to my coworkers chocolate bars, mini coffee, mini hot chocolate and they were a big hit. Many items come in multi packs. I also bought the multi packs of the coins and lolipops. Basically check out the multi pack items and keep in your budget.

Yeah to be honest, if my boss went away on vacation and brought back her kid's excess buttons and free soaps from the hotel, I don't even know how I would react lol. I might think she is off her rocker. I don't buy souvenirs when I go on vacation and I sure as heck don't want souvenirs of my boss's vacation. I 100% agree with buying lunch or coffee & Donuts, something like that will show your appreciation much more than adding to their junk drawer back home.

Last year I brought home mickey coffee and hot chocolate and set up a coffee bar with some bagels and donuts.
Another time I bought a couple the big boxes of different mickey chocolates and some bags cookies and we had afternoon snack with our weekly meeting.

I'd skip the Disney themed stuff- and just bring in donuts to thank them for their effort while you were out. SOMEONE in a group that large is likely to think you are rubbing their noses in your "expensive Disney vacation," question how you can afford it (you must make a LOT more!) and just be a general spoilsport about the whole thing. If morale happens to be bad because of a bad week, it could backfire.

I agree with all the PPs. Food is always a great choice. Maybe a nice box of cookies or cupcakes from a bakery. Provide some special drink to go with the snacks. Maybe cookies and milk of a fruity punch with the cupcakes. If you want a touch of Disney I would provide Disney themed plates, cups and napkins.
