We play this at Bunko on occasion. We play with dollar bills & regular dice. If you roll a 1-3, you keep your dollar, if you roll a 4, you pass one dollar to the left. If you roll a 5, you pass a dollar to the right. If you roll a 6, you put a dollar in the center. One a dollar is in the center, it is out of play. Each player continues to roll the same number of dice as they have dollars (up to 3). If you have 3 dollars and roll a 2, a 4 & a 6, you Keep one dollar (for the 2), pass one dollar to the person on your left (for the 4), and put one dollar in the middle (for the 6). At this point, you only have 1 dollar left. Unless the person to the right or left of you passes you a dollar on their next turn, you would only roll 1 die on your next turn. Play continues until one person has posession of the last dollar. That person wins the whole pot.

The LCR dice help to keep it easier, but you can play with regular dice.

Love this game! I have a group of travel friends and we have played this in more countries than I can remember. Playing with foreign currency makes things interesting. I just drop the three dice in the bottom of my handbag when I know I am going out with a group of friends and it always turns into so much fun.

I love the title of this= Inexpensive FUN holiday gift.... LCR dice game - it is an inexpensive game to buy BUT playing with $1's, $5's, $10's & yes we have even played with $20's can really add up! We love it & play with our family & friends at bbq's, holiday parties & we even play while bowling on our bowling league! I usually let the kids play with Hershey's kisses or chocolate coins.

Thank you all for sharing about how much fun this game is, and thanks for posting a link that offers free shipping. I ordered a 3 pack for $15.99. If it gets here in time for Christmas, I'll put one in dh's stocking and will give the others as gifts. If our package comes after Christmas, we'll have a fun game for New Year's Eve and I'll set the other 2 aside for gifts for next year.

I have never heard of this game but it sounds like tons of fun, just bought one off ebay 5.69 with free shipping. Hope I get by Christmas so we can play Christmas eve!!

I also played the pig game as a child and it was alot of fun. I may have to pick that up for my girls..

Other than online, has anyone seen this game in stores - chains? I can't get this before Christmas now and really want it for the boys' stockings. I tried Target, KMart, Walmart and Gamestop and noone has even heard of it. Any other suggestions?

I ordered mine online yesterday morning from the website posted in this thread that offers free shipping. It shipped yesterday. I'm hoping we will get the package in time for Christmas. If you can't find it in local stores, it might be worth a try to order it online and hope for the best. I figure that if the package doesn't come in time for Christmas then we'll have a fun game to play on New Year's Eve.

I had never heard of this. It sounds like my kids would love it.

We have a lot of blank dice, so I would like to just make it. Can someone that has it tell me how many dots are on one die? Is it one each L,C, and R, and the rest dots??

I placed my order early on Monday morning, and with free shipping it arrived today! I wrapped 2 for gifts, and the kids and I played with the 3rd set. It is a fun game! We have to keep that 3rd set hidden from dh until after Christmas, as he's getting one of the sets in his stocking.
