Inexpensive Christmas Candy Ideas

For all of you budgeters--stocking up now on halloween candy can create some AMAZING christmas candy on a cheap budget!
Butterfingers: become butterfinger peanut butter balls
Peanut butter cups: Become blossoms cookies
Hershey candy bars: great in cookies or for dipping treats
Dipping white chocolate: self explanitory
Rolo's : Great fillers in cookies!
Those are just to name a few! My friends and family think I must spend a TON of money with all the candy and cookies I make for Christmas--little do they know I stock up at 75% off!!!

This one's yummy:

Easy Turtle Candies

Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil.
Lay out mini-pretzels, top each one with a Rolo candy.
Bake them a few minutes -- just long enough to get the Rolo "melty".
Yank the pan from the oven and immediately press a pecan down into the Rolo, squishing it a little.

Try to wait 'til they're cool to eat them. If you fail, I'll understand!
